Let’s Meet in Columbus

Bandwango’s CEO Mo Parikh and CRO Jay Alson will be at NACAC 2025 (Sept 18–20) in Columbus, Ohio — and we’re excited to meet with enrollment leaders ready to reimagine how campus visits, orientation programs, and yield strategies can all work harder (and smarter) for their institutions.

You’ll find us at Booth 613 throughout the conference. Want a deeper conversation? Email jay@bandwango.com.

UNR Needed to Bring the Whole College Experience to Life — Not Just the Tour

At the University of Nevada, Reno, the admissions team had a clear challenge: How do we stand out in a crowded admissions cycle, showcase the vibrant lifestyle of Reno and Lake Tahoe, and actually track which visits lead to applications?

Our Solution: The College Town Pass

Bandwango worked with UNR to launch a Prospective Student Pass — a mobile-first experience that guided students and families to top on-campus and local spots. Users checked in, earned points, and redeemed them at the campus bookstore. The pass highlighted UNR’s unique culture while giving the team real-time engagement insights.

Result: 97% of pass users applied to UNR, all with a significant yield boost!

One of the most successful visit-to-application conversion tools we’ve seen in higher ed.

WashU’s Self-Guided Tour Pass: Virtual + Powerful

For students who can’t make it to campus in person, Washington University in St. Louis launched a self-guided virtual tour using Bandwango. It's flexible, branded, and surprisingly high-impact.

The pass allows students to explore WashU at their own pace — while the admissions team sees what they engage with and can follow up accordingly. Whether on-site or remote, these experiences create a sense of belonging before the application is even started.

Coming Just in Time: OSU’s Homecoming Alumni Pass

This week, we’re also celebrating with our partners at The Ohio State University, who are launching a brand-new Alumni Pass starting this week for Homecoming. It’s designed to drive event attendance, rekindle school spirit, and deepen alumni connection — all through a digital-first lens.

It’s proof that Bandwango isn’t just for prospects. It works across the entire lifecycle: orientation, traditions, alumni engagement, and more.

Launch in as Little as 1 Business Day

Need to move fast? Bandwango passes can go live in 1 business day — branded, personalized, and ready to collect data from day one. No app to download. No tech lift needed.

Funny Enough, We Noticed That Even NACAC Is Using Bandwango!

In your NACAC pre-conference email, you may have noticed a link to the Columbus Convention Savings Pass — powered by Bandwango.

That pass comes from our longtime partner, Experience Columbus, one of the 500+ destinations that use our platform to power local discovery. For those visiting Columbus, you can check out passes like the Attractions Pass, Coffee Trail, and more while you’re in town.

It’s a small example of our broader reach — and a reminder that your students, families, and alumni don’t just visit your school. They experience your city.

Let’s Talk at NACAC

Whether you're focused on yield, storytelling, personalization, or just delivering a more meaningful visit experience — we’d love to show you what’s working across campuses just like yours.

Because when students explore, connect, and belong — they enroll.
